Norfolk Collection
Our Norfolk Collection, made from reclaimed oak and cherry wood, features handmade furniture
crafted by master
cabinet makers in Great Britain. The workshop is a third
generation family run business and specializes in using traditional
techniques and craftsmanship. The cabinet maker uses age-old
techniques handed down by previous cabinetmakers. Each turning
is done by hand, each mortise and tenon joint is doweled for
strength. Every surface is hand planed with a spoke shaver to
provide an authentic aged and distressed look.
Bespoke Cabinetmaking
We
start with rough sawn timber that has been reclaimed in many cases.
Each piece of wood is selected for its character grain and
distinctive markings.
Truly Handmade
Each table, cabinet or custom piece is made entirely from solid timber and hand finished. Each drawer is dovetailed and includes solid wood sides backs and bottoms.
The Norfolk Collection is known for the exquisite finish and hand
spoke planing giving it the "instant" aged look. Not contrived, just
right. All carving and distressing is done by hand.
As well as our standard range of solid oak and cherry pieces
including dining suites, coffee tables, dressers and bedroom suites
we offer a bespoke design service, A comprehensive choice of
colors and finishes is available from heavily distressed dark oaks
to clean and crisp natural wax finishes, all capable of coping with
the hectic modern lifestyle of today.
